I was really looking forward to this family photo session because I was so excited to see baby Evelyn. I photographed her when she was just a few days old and now in what seems like a minute she turned one. Time basically flew by since our last session.
October is one of my busiest months in the year. With holidays coming up, families are looking to update their family portraits. It is the time when I get to see lot of my past clients who I absolutely adore. Reconnecting with my sweet families means a lot to me and it is a huge reason why I love what I do. So, even though I am working hard during this busy period, I am also having a lot of fun.
About the Location
For this lifestyle family session we chose a beautiful location in Walnut Creek. The Old Borges Ranch has a very rustic look to it and it’s also connected with the Shell Ridge open space. In such a small area there is so much variety. It’s one of my favorite locations to photograph at. I wrote about it here.
About the Session
We started the photoshoot on the ranch property itself and then we walked over to the nearby trail. Generally, with little kids I like to keep the session moving. Going from one area to the next keeps everyone happy and engaged. We ended the session with a celebratory cupcake which Evelyn ate up in a very short amount of time.
It was so nice reconnect with this sweet family. Till next time…
